From MPL Malaysia to international Valorant tournaments — 8lucky delivers a complete esports betting experience with real-time odds, live in-play betting, and exclusive bonuses for Malaysian esports fans.
For players aged 18 and above. Bet responsibly.
8lucky offers the most comprehensive esports betting options for Malaysian players — from local leagues to world championships.
MLBB is the most popular esport in Malaysia and the flagship title in 8lucky's esports section. MPL Malaysia, MSC, and the M-Series are all available to bet on with competitive odds. Malaysian players have a natural analytical edge when it comes to this game.
Valorant is rapidly gaining traction among Malaysian esports fans. VCT Pacific and VCT Malaysia deliver high-quality matches nearly every week. Singapore's Paper Rex is the region's standout SEA representative with a large following in Malaysia.
CS2 is the longest-standing esports title with the most mature betting community in the world. ESL Pro League, BLAST Premier and IEM deliver high-quality matches year-round, and the wealth of statistical data available makes match analysis more thorough.
The International (TI) Dota 2 is the world's biggest esports tournament by prize pool — making it one of the most anticipated esports betting events for 8lucky Malaysia players every year. DPC League and SEA qualifiers are also available.
League of Legends remains one of the most-watched esports in the world. LCK, LPL and the Worlds Championship offer premium betting content throughout the season. T1 and Faker are the most recognised names on the circuit and a firm favourite among 8lucky players.
8lucky also offers odds on a wide range of other esports titles including Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Overwatch 2, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire and FIFA e-Football — perfect for players who follow multiple game genres.
If you're a serious Malaysian esports fan — someone who watches MPL every week, knows every team's roster, and can read the current meta — you already have an edge that most people don't realise is worth anything. Deep knowledge of local teams and players is a more valuable asset in esports betting than it is in almost any other sport.
8lucky understands this reality. That's why our esports section is built with Malaysian players in mind — not just a copy-paste of some overseas platform retrofitted for the local market. We offer odds for local leagues like MPL Malaysia that are more detailed and updated more frequently than most other platforms. If you know how Todak has been performing in the latest patch, or that RSG Malaysia swapped their jungler a week before a crucial series — that kind of insight is genuinely valuable when it comes to placing your bets.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang holds a special place in Malaysian esports. The MPL Malaysia Season runs twice a year — each season spanning several months with matches held almost every weekend. At 8lucky, every MPL Malaysia match comes with a full range of betting markets: match winner, game handicap, total games (over/under), and for marquee matches, in-play betting updated each game.
Teams like Todak, RSG Malaysia, Team SMG, Geek Fam MY, and Orange Esports have long track records that are well worth analysing. Their head-to-head records, performance on the current patch, and roster changes are all freely available through Malaysia's active esports media. 8lucky players who follow MPL consistently often spot value opportunities that international platforms — with less focus on local leagues — are likely to miss.
For MLBB, look at each team's record over their last 3 series rather than just their overall league standing. Esports is far more volatile than traditional sports — a team in form can upset the reigning champion without warning. Recent form matters more than season-wide records.
In just a few years, Valorant has built a thriving community in Malaysia. VCT Malaysia brings together the best local teams in intense competition, and many 8lucky players have made Valorant betting a regular part of their viewing routine. Unlike MLBB's 5v5 MOBA focus, Valorant brings a different tactical dimension — agent selection, map strategy and round economy all influence match outcomes in ways that can be carefully analysed.
At 8lucky, Valorant betting is available across all VCT tiers — from VCT Malaysia Challengers all the way up to VCT Pacific and global VCT Masters. Odds on SEA teams like Paper Rex, who represent our region on the world stage, consistently draw strong interest from Malaysian players who take pride in the region's international achievements.
Unlike traditional sports, which mostly offer win/loss and over/under markets, esports at 8lucky opens up far more betting dimensions. This creates a richer wagering experience with more angles for players who genuinely know the game.
Match winner betting is the most straightforward — pick the team that wins the overall series (Bo3 or Bo5). Handicap betting gives one team an advantage or disadvantage in terms of game count, ideal for matchups where one side is the clear favourite. Over/under game betting lets you predict whether the series will go the full distance (game 3 in a Bo3, or game 5 in a Bo5) or end early.
For more technical bettors, 8lucky also offers specific markets like "first game winner" on select major matches — ideal for players looking to capitalise on the side that typically dominates early in a series before the opponent has time to adjust. Each option adds another angle to sharpen your own analytical approach.
One of the most valued features among dedicated esports bettors at 8lucky is in-play or live betting during matches. Unlike traditional sports, esports can shift momentum dramatically and in an instant — a team may be in full control at the 15-minute mark, only to lose within the next 10 minutes off a single teamfight mistake.
For players who watch matches live and can read the game accurately, in-play betting at 8lucky is a golden opportunity. Live odds reflect the current state of play — but they don't always capture the real momentum, which only a sharp observer who truly understands the game can assess. That's where esports knowledge becomes a real, monetisable edge.
